Therapy can be helpful for navigating and understanding the intricacies of life. Whether you are entering a difficult season, wanting to connect and know your true self, or needing help to find a new perspective, therapy can be a remarkable journey of self-discovery and connection. In our sessions, you'll find a non-judgmental therapeutic environment where you are safe to be authentic, honest, and open.

For couples, therapy can be used to support the natural ebb and flow of relationships. Couples therapy is an opportunity to re-establish connection, learn communication skills, and begin to develop a deeper sense of knowing your partner. With a focus on emotion, we will co-create a space that values practicing empathy, vulnerability, seeking new perspectives, and listening skills. I act as a compassionate ally for both you and your partner as you navigate the journey of your relationship.

Whether you are an individual, a couple, or a family seeking support, my approach honors your unique needs and circumstances by meeting you where you are. Here, we will cultivate a relationship built on trust, allowing you to explore your inner world, heal from past wounds, and strengthen your connections with others. By ensuring that your life story is at the heart of our work together, we will create a holistic and affirming therapeutic experience.

My educational journey began at Oberlin College, where I pursued a bachelor’s degree in psychology and biology. I further honed my skills and knowledge at Seattle University, earning a Masters in Couples and Family Therapy, which laid the groundwork for my work in systemic therapy. Before stepping into the world of counseling, I immersed myself in reproductive health, working as a medical assistant, doula, and patient advocate. This experience enriched my understanding of life's transitions and the power of support and connection.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me exploring the vibrant city of Seattle with my beloved dog, soaking in the energy of live music, or enjoying heartfelt moments cooking with my friends and family.

  • Associate Mental Health Counselor

I am a creative therapist and a passionate advocate for relational health. From a systems perspective, I believe that we all exist within the context of our meaningful relationships. With this lens, we consider how past experiences and current attachments set the emotional tone for your daily life. Good therapy looks radically different for each person, but it always starts with carving out an hour in your routine to make time for yourself, to reflect, to share, and to explore your inner landscape. I am here to partner alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life's inevitable highs and lows. I meet my clients where they are, highlight their unique inner resources and strengths, and collaborate with them as they traverse their individualized therapeutic goals.

In addition to compassionate, person-centered talk therapy, I am a trained art therapist. I can provide a wide array of visual and expressive tools to help strengthen your creative voice and find deeper meaning through imagery and metaphor. You don't have to have any special skills or talent, and you don’t have to be a self-proclaimed artist to enjoy the benefits of creative expression. Research shows that simply playing with art materials can significantly reduce stress hormones and help people express themselves in the face of exhaustion, anxiety, or trauma. If you'd like to work together but aren't sure about using art, no worries! Therapy is an individualized journey and we will cater our work together to fit your specific goals!

I'm originally from Denver, and I made my way to Seattle in 2010. Previously I worked in horticulture, gardening, and floral design. I currently maintain a studio art practice in my spare time and love to create large-scale murals. I still draw inspiration from my gardening roots and believe we can learn a lot about our own emotional cycles from the natural world. I genuinely look forward to meeting new clients and learning from each individual's unique perspective as we form a supportive therapeutic alliance.

  • Way to go; you have already made the first step towards a change in your circumstances!

They say "the journey of a thousand miles begins with a first step" and I'm struck by your courage in even beginning the road to health and emotional support. As a therapist, my goal is to create a supportive, understanding and welcoming environment that fosters each person's unique road to improvement. I place a high value on working to understand where each person has come from, to validate their experiences, and to work next to them towards their goals.

There are a variety of therapeutic orientations, but I adapt my professional skills and

knowledge in order to best fit your particular needs. I see each client as the expert of their own life and in the therapeutic relationship, you will have someone to walk alongside you to help discover those often elusive solutions.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from California State University Monterey Bay, and then I went on to pursue my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Central Washington University. I am originally from Colorado, I was a collegiate volleyball player and I have always loved the outdoors. In my free time, I enjoy being with family and friends, taking my dog on walks, and doing puzzles.

  • Life Coach

You have taken a courageous step by being here & I’m here to support you on your journey. Even amongst great difficulties, I believe we can all live with a sense of ease. My hope in our work together is to help you discover the ease & sense of “aliveness” you are looking for - whether that be through solving problems, navigating challenges, or exploring the next (or current) chapter of your journey in more depth.

My style aims to create space to explore & then to create clarity & structure to bring about meaningful change & growth. During our first session, we will design together

how to do that in a way that is most helpful for you.

The majority of my training has been from the Co-Active Training Institute where I received my International Coaching Federation (ICF)-accredited Professional Coaching Certificate, complemented with training from the Performance Paradigm on culturally-informed, inclusive coaching (which is central to my approach). I have coached individuals across the globe with diverse backgrounds, life stages, &

motivations for seeking coaching. Prior to coaching, I worked for a Fortune 10 company where I led global teams & programs, served as an internal coach & facilitator, & lived in various cities across the U.S. & in the U.K.

More recently, I call San Diego, CA home. In my freetime you can find me daydreaming about interior design, on a hiking trail, or in search of the best ice cream cone in town with my partner.

I look forward to getting to know you & working alongside you.

As we all try to navigate life’s highs and lows, I believe it is important to remember that we don’t have to do it alone. I believe that seeking therapy is an act of courage, and it takes a brave person to reach out for help. I strive to foster a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to explore your whole self.

I work with individuals, couples and families. I believe in looking at a person from a holistic point of view to ensure that you have the opportunity to share your full unique story. I provide a therapeutic experience that allows you to share your story with me as I help to guide and support you through that process. I use several different modalities depending on what is best for you and your goals in therapy.

For teens, I strive to provide a space where they feel comfortable to explore themselves as they navigate new transitions in their life like school, relationships, family, independence, and values and beliefs. I believe it is important to meet teens where they are at and provide a space where they feel like they can be their true authentic selves. It’s important for me to help teens to identify their own strengths and feel confident in their identity and who they are.

I completed my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Utah State University. I furthered my education at Seattle University, earning my Masters in Couples and Family Therapy. Before continuing my education at Seattle University I worked in the mental health field with teenagers where I developed my passion for becoming a therapist.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dog, traveling with my family, trying new restaurants, and planning my next road trip.

The path to healing is not one-size-fits-all or linear. Regardless of who you are, we're all out here just trying to be human. The decision to seek help is not an easy one, but my calling is to make the process feel safe, approachable, and welcomed. My goal is to be your mirror and witness to your story. I hope to create a collaborative and safe space to address your needs, achieve your goals, and bring peace and contentment to your whole self.

I believe optimal wellness is an individual human right, and strive to include a social justice mindset to everything I do, whether it be in the counselor's chair or in the community. I hope to be your counselor-advocate, helping you navigate your journey to optimal wellness.

I have a Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation and minor in Psychology from Western Washington University. My path has led me to complete my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle. I have completed Person-of-the-Therapist training, as well as a certificate in Trauma Counseling. I am a queer, second-generation Filipinx-American, and I hope to reflect experiences that have been underrepresented in the mental health field. Researching service delivery to bridge the gap between the mental health field and communities of color is a professional aspiration of mine.

In my free time, I like spending quality time with my wife, exploring dairy and egg-free recipes and allergy-conscious restaurants in the city. I love listening to good music and watching all the binge-worthy dramas and horror movies.

Stefanie is a compassionate and experienced therapist specializing in trauma-informed care, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) trained. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, she is dedicated to helping individuals heal and grow.

Born and raised in Washington State, Stefanie developed a deep understanding of the impact of trauma on mental health. Stefanie pursued advanced training in EMDR, a highly effective therapy for processing and resolving traumatic experiences. This specialized training allows her to help clients overcome the lingering effects of trauma and find relief from symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

In addition to EMDR, Stefanie is also trained in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), a therapeutic approach that combines elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy with mindfulness practices. This approach is particularly effective in helping individuals develop skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and enhance overall well-being.

One of Stefanie’s core beliefs is that therapy should be a collaborative process, where clients are empowered to be the leaders in their own care. She meets clients where they are at, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Stefanie believes in tailoring therapy to each individual's unique needs and goals, and works closely with clients to develop personalized goals.

With Stefanie as your therapist, you can expect a warm and empathetic approach, combined with evidence-based techniques and a deep respect for your journey. She is committed to helping you navigate life's challenges, heal from past wounds, and build a more fulfilling and meaningful future.

  • My approach to therapy is open-minded, collaborative, inclusive, w...arm, and authentic. I encourage my clients to show up as their authentic selves with the intention to form a trusting therapeutic relationship with them. I aim to walk alongside my clients in their journeys- healing, pattern-breaking, exploration of self, relationship issues, or whatever their journey may look like. I pull from many theoretical orientations and personally tailor my approach to each individual client, as therapy is not a “one size fits all.” I find value in community, connection, and laughter in my daily life and believe these values to be vital in therapy as well.

I graduated from Clemson University with a BA in psychology and a minor in English. (Go tigers!) I then moved 3,000 miles cross country and am now a third-year master of education in clinical mental health counseling student at Seattle University and intern at No Stress No Stigma. De-stigmatizing mental health has been a long-time passion of mine, now turned career. My own journey has influenced my career choice - as I have experienced firsthand the positive impacts of therapy.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy being in the sun (Seattle winters have been a bit of an adjustment,) being out on the water as much as I can, spending time with my friends, snuggling with my cat, Peppy, cooking new recipes, and reading a good book!

  • Every person and couple who seek therapy has their own, important reason. You might be experiencing anxiety, emotional disconnection, people-pleasing tendencies, or a sense of hopelessness. Maybe you’re struggling to connect—in your relationship, with yourself, or with what matters most. I offer a compassionate, warm space to explore these challenges and make meaningful, lasting change.

I work with individuals, couples, and families drawing from evidence-based theories like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside somatic and mindfulness-based practices. My style is relational and experiential, and I believe in the healing power of laughter!

Knowing oneself deeply is one of the most challenging and rewarding endeavors a person may take, and much easier to do with support. If you’re interested in working together, please reach out.

  • My therapeutic style is warm, curious, collaborative, and interactive. I take a strengths-based, holistic approach to therapy, understanding that no one exists in a vacuum. I will work with you to understand how all the systems (family, work, & societal) you interact with throughout life impact you. There is no one size fits all approach in therapy, with every person bringing their own authenticity and individualized life contexts, thus I tailor therapy to meet you where you are. As I walk alongside you on your growth and healing journey, I will also look for little ways to find laughter and joy amongst any pain and truth.

My goal is to help you build your coping mechanisms with tangible tools, all while leading with curiosity, kindness, and compassion. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and my job is to create a safe space where you can explore your strengths, challenge yourself, and develop the skills needed for you to thrive.

I am committed to a collaborative, non-judgemental approach that helps you achieve your goals, providing a space where you can explore yourself deeper. Healing is not linear but I deeply believe that growth and change happens when one puts their heart and mind to their goals. I look forward to walking alongside you and empowering you in your journey.

  • Hi! I’m Michelle! Your concerns aren’t “just stress.” Your pain isn’t something to “get over”. Your feelings aren’t “too much”. You matter. In a world that often rushes past the difficult emotions. I create space where every part of your experience is acknowledged and values, especially the parts you have been told to hide. I know firsthand how draining it can be to carry the weight of trauma, to feel anxiety’s constant presence, or to battle that harsh inner critic day after day. These struggles are real, and they’re heavy.

Whether you're in the middle of a major life shift, working to heal old wounds, or simply needing someone who truly listens without judgment, that's where I come in. In our work together, we'll look at how your life experiences have shaped your present reality, while developing coping tools and strategies you can use immediately.

I understand that people's stories are complex and multidimensional. My background has taught me that judgment closes doors; compassion opens them. I hope to meet you soon and begin this therapeutic journey together.

  • Hi, I’m Ananya, a Marriage and Family Therapy intern at No Stress No Stigma. I look forward to getting to know you! My approach to therapy is holistic – I consider the many factors that shape your daily life. Just as there’s no answer key for life’s challenges, I believe there’s no single “right” way to do therapy.

In our work together, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your goals, navigate difficulties, and grow at your own pace. I’m currently pursuing my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northwestern University’s Family Institute, and I work with individuals, couples, and families. I’m passionate about serving LGBTQIA+ clients, non-traditional couples and family systems, and other diverse communities. Coming from a background where therapy is often stigmatized, I’m especially committed to helping clients break through fears and anxieties about seeking support. Reaching out for help can feel scary, but by being here, you’re already taking a brave step forward.

On a more personal note, I’m a creative spirit – I love singing, dancing, cooking, and gaming! Welcome to therapy, I’m honored to walk this path with you.

  • When thinking about the therapeutic journey of the client, I look towards the whole self of the client. When presenting issues of emotions and behaviors, feeling like they are not in control in life, I collaborate with people to identify goals that take them toward a path of full autonomy over their feelings. Whether they are asking for help with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or just need some encouragement, I, without judgement or assumptions, help them be aware in the moment. I welcome people who struggle with being present and are seeking a long-term collaboration that is compassionate, empathetic, and empowering

I offer services to diverse groups such as children and adults with autism as well as people undergoing stressful events and life transitions. I am passionate about LGBTQIA+ issues and will assist with integration of all nuances of the self. Without judgement, I listen and focus on the experience of the "here and now" to allow you to be aware of the moment.

I can understand that life can go at the speed of light. It may feel impossible to stop. The brain can be shuffling through so many pictures at once, like fast forwarding a movie. If this feels like you, do not hesitate to reach out and we can work together and determine a path for you to help you feel present in your life.

  • As a collaborative, open, and caring therapist, my goal is to meet you exactly where you are and be there for you every step of the way. Whether you’re navigating family dynamics, healing from a breakup, or working through trauma, I’m here to help you become the best version of yourself- without stress or stigma. With training in Marriage and Family Therapy, I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. My experience includes behavioral therapy, and I’ve had the privilege of working with people of all ages, from toddlers to seniors.

I know reaching out for help can feel daunting—I’ve been there too! As a therapist and fellow human, I bring warmth, compassion, and a good sense of humor to our work together (sometimes laughter is the best medicine). Together, we’ll explore your story, tackle life’s challenges, and help you create a path forward that feels right for you—one step at a time.

On a personal note, I’ve been married for 15 years and have four awesome kids, a crazy cat, and a loving Golden Retriever. • First, thank you for being here. I want to acknowledge that you have taken the first step to begin your journey into therapy. That in and of itself is significant because starting therapy can bring up a lot of emotions, and I recognize the strength it takes to reach out. No matter what brings you here, my door is open. Together we will work to treat the symptoms you are experiencing in the here and now, and also work alongside one another to explore what is causing them, fostering holistic healing and growth. My goal is to empower you to transform your experiences into resilience and emotional well-being.

I am passionate about working with both couples and individuals. Cultural attunement is at the heart of my practice, informed by a deep respect for diversity and a belief in the importance of cultural context in therapy. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where clients from all backgrounds feel understood and valued.

Outside of psychology, cooking and crafting are big parts of my life. My guilty pleasure is finding crafts on tiktok to recreate and I have been known to go above and beyond in hosting dinner parties, birthdays and craft nights. I also enjoy spending time with my significant other and little one, who is growing up way too fast.

  • Hi, I'm Alicia. I work with people navigating life's ups and downs, helping them sort through emotions, rebuild connections, and find peace with where they are right now. My goal is to provide support and guidance, empowering you to feel more balanced and connected. Whether you're facing stress, life transitions, or challenges in your relationships, I'm here to help you take small, meaningful steps forward.

Family is at the heart of what I do—it’s my foundation and why I strive to grow and change in my life. The relationships we build with others—and ourselves—can drive healing and transformation. I offer both family and individual counseling, creating a safe, affirming space, especially for the LGBTQIA+ community, where everyone can explore their true selves.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking, reading, traveling, gardening, and taking walks. I love spending time with friends and making bouquets from flowers I grow. Gardening teaches patience, nurturing, and care—a beautiful metaphor for life. Just as plants need time and attention to thrive, we also need kindness and care on our paths to well-being.

  • Many of us long for more peace, belonging, meaning, and connection in our lives. As a systemic therapist, I view problems not in isolation but within the broader context of our relationships, environment, and lived experiences. In therapy, we’ll explore not just the issue that brings you in, but also the patterns and influences that contribute to and sustain it. Systemic therapy embraces a both/and perspective, rather than either/or thinking.

As a visual person, I often think in metaphors. Imagine yourself as a string instrument. You  naturally want to feel in tune so that you can operate at your best in your life, work and relationships. When life throws us off balance, it can be hard to know which strings are out of tune—especially when we are overwhelmed. Therapy can act like a tuning fork: a space to help identify what's sharp (this might feel like anxiety) or flat (this might feel like depression). Therapy helps you attune so you can reconnect with your most empowered and authentic-feeling self.

I believe we all have inherent worth and a deep need to feel seen, heard, and understood. When we experience real presence and acceptance, we begin to attune more fully to ourselves and others—opening the door to healing, growth, and deeper connections.

In my work, I bring a compassionate, strength-based approach, honoring clients as the experts of their own lives. I believe in our innate human capacity for healing and transformation. My clinical orientation is grounded in attachment-based models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which emphasize self-awareness, compassion, integration, and accountability. I work with individuals, couples and families. I am particularly passionate about helping couples expand their capacities for seeing and feeling seen, hearing and being heard, understanding and feeling understood in their relationship. I am also passionate about helping blended families navigate the unique challenges of those dynamics.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy digging in the dirt, designing and building home projects with my partner, cooking from scratch, and sharing meals with friends and family. One of my favorite happiness-boosting practices is savoring the small, meaningful moments.

  • Hi! I’m Jaisy, a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern with No Stress No Stigma. When someone sits with me, I want them to feel safe, seen, and heard. I know trust doesn’t happen instantly, but I want you to feel from day one that I’m here for you—with warmth, consistency, and no judgment.

I was first drawn to this work because of a middle school counselor who changed my life just by showing up for me. That moment never left me. I’m also no stranger to hardship, and I believe those lived experiences have shaped my compassion and my ability to meet people exactly where they are. I live by the quote, “If I do one thing today, may I be human sunshine for someone else.” That’s the energy I aim to bring into every session.

Most of my experience has been working with children and adolescents in school settings, especially around social and emotional growth. But I also enjoy working with adults navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, or seasons of transition—because healing doesn’t have an age limit, and we all deserve support.

On a personal note, I live in Grand Cayman with my husband and our three kids. I love beach walks, yoga, dancing in the kitchen, and curling up with a good book. I'm grateful to be part of a team that believes in showing up for others without pressure or stigma—and I look forward to walking alongside you.

  • Hi friend! My name is Alan, and I am an intern at No Stress No Stigma! I am a firm believer in never giving up (it’s okay to take breaks!) and like to approach obstacles with optimism. I am passionate about helping people find their footing and teaching them new skills and techniques to add to their tool belt. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for individuals to build and learn new coping mechanisms, explore their strengths and weaknesses, and to comfortably express their feelings.

A little bit about myself - I have 3 years of experience of being a therapeutic teacher for at risk children. I also have a particular interest in working with men and helping dissolve the stigma that men don’t go to therapy. With that being said, I am unbelievably excited to hear about peoples lived experiences from all backgrounds and cultures and to help be a part of their journey!

  • Therapy can be daunting, and it’s hard to know where to start. You’re in the right place! I love to provide a relaxed, judgement-free space for you to bring your problems and just let it all out. A compassionate listener, I am here to support and validate your perspective as we investigate what’s going on. Life, work, and relationships can be so complex, affecting the way we think, feel, and behave. I’m here to help you sort it all out!

Together, we can explore your experiences to understand their impact on your current thoughts and behaviors, while identifying roadblocks causing distress. I use humor, compassion, and empathy to ease your symptoms and help heal the root of the problem. My goal is to equip you with skills and knowledge to confidently tackle whatever life throws your way.

A PNW girl through-and-through, you can often find me fishing, foraging for mushrooms, or fossil hunting with my family. Indoors, I have a small (ok, large) plant obsession, and a passion for food, whether I’m eating it, cooking it, finding it, or growing it! I love the healing nature of therapy, and I hope to connect with you soon :)

  • Sometimes in life, we can get to a point where we feel stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed. I want you to know that your are not alone in your life’s journey, and that I am here to walk beside you as we work through it together. It can be scary to start therapy and work towards change, so I want you to know you are very brave for taking this next step. My goal is to help you uncover a sense of clarity of what you want for your life while offering you the support and empathy you need to flourish.

I tailor my approach to each unique individual, while bringing in tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other evidenced based therapies to help you live the best life you can and cope with thoughts and feelings that overwhelm you. We will work together to help you with whatever you may be struggling with. I strive to maintain a strong sense of cultural humility and unconditional respect, so that you can feel safe and supported.

Outside of work I enjoy playing video games, reading, composing music, and spending time with my spouse and and kids.

Wherever you’re at in your life’s journey, I am here to walk it with you every step of the way. You will always be in a safe space where it is absolutely OK to be whoever you are. I look forward to meeting you and exploring your goals together!"

  • I’m a kind, outgoing person who loves connecting with others and hearing what their stories are in a way that makes them feel seen, heard and not judged. I offer individual, family, and couples therapy. When it comes to therapy, I'm all about it being centered around you! This approach is called narrative therapy, it helps others see how there are positives in life despite what hardships they may be experiencing. The journey to healing is a beautiful thing and our stories can be re-written to help our healing.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, reading, traveling, exploring new food spots and trying new things!

  • Life has its seasons - moments of joy, and times of struggle. It is full of ups and downs, transitions, and unexpected challenges. Sometimes, we find ourselves weighed down by the pressures to “hold it all together” while quietly carrying burdens no one else sees. Reaching out for help can feel difficult, and even vulnerable, but it can also be the first brave step toward growth, clarity, and healing.

I believe that every person holds the strengths they need to overcome life’s obstacles - sometimes, they just need a safe space and the right support to unlock that strength. Therapy isn’t about being “broken,” it’s about discovering the power, resilience, and direction that already exists within you.

I served in the Army and Army Reserves for 24-years, retiring as an E-8, and have learned firsthand the value of perseverance, inner strength, and personal connection. I bring that same grounded perspective into my work as a therapist. I received my Bachelor’s of Psychology from California State University Stanislaus, and am nearing completion of my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy.

My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative -whether you’re navigation relationship issues, personal struggles, trauma, or life transitions. Wherever you are on your journey, I want you to know that you’re not alone. I look forward to connecting with you and exploring what brought you here, and where you’d like to go next.
