Amanda Rausch, LMFT — Owner, CEO, and Supervisor

No matter what you are going through, know that I am here to listen, support you and help you figure it all out!

I look into different patterns throughout your life to help you understand why you might be feeling or acting a certain way.  I help my clients overcome obstacles by looking into and exploring the various components of their lives. I help to foster insight and self-awareness, which can be the first steps towards making a real and lasting change! I work with my clients to alleviate their symptoms as well as find and fix the root of the issue... think of this like not only putting on a Band-Aid but also healing the wound!

Clients have told me I provide a compassionate, empathetic and truthful perspective. I make sure to take the time to get to know and respect the needs and wants of each individual client, and want you to feel comfortable and at ease in therapy.

I am originally from San Diego, then I spent some time experiencing life in the vast and often snow-filled states in the great Mid-West before finally settling down in the crisp air and flannel-loving state of Washington. I enjoy cooking, reading, stand-up-paddle-boarding, and practicing yoga. I would describe myself as a fun, nonjudgmental, positive, and sincere person. I love being a therapist because I love connecting with and helping people. I truly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. See my video introduction!

Wendy Naiman, LMFT- AAMFT Approved Supervisor

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Washington state and Oregon. I have been practicing since 2011. I graduated from Antioch University Seattle’s Couple and Family Program with an MA degree. I have advanced training in ACT, CBT, DBT,  EMDR, CPT, Expressive Arts Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, PACT and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I am also a Washington State approved supervisor and an AAMFT approved supervisor in training.

I love working with people with anxiety. It is so rewarding when my clients realize that anxiety can be turned into a superpower and that the uncomfortable pieces of anxiety can be processed and managed. I also enjoy working with couples who desire better communication. With better communication comes better connection which is the ultimate goal.

As a supervisor, I strive to help my supervisees develop the skills, the knowledge and the confidence to be the therapists that they want to be.

I believe that we are built to thrive, not just survive. I bring that philosophy to my work. My job as a therapist and as a supervisor is to ensure that you are thriving. Life can happen to you or you can make life happen. In session, I assist my clients in creating roadmaps to clear out barriers and goals that will lead to maximizing their potential.

There are a few things that I learned on my mental health therapist journey that I think are so important. One is that the key to connection is vulnerability. Language plays such an important role in  our lives. How we speak about ourselves and our situations can really change how we see our world. And one last thing…terrible, awful things will and do happen. And we are able to process them, learn from them and move with them in our lives.

In my own life, I am a partner. We have been together now for over two decades. I am a mom to a wonderful daughter, a great dog, and an adorable cat. I love all things true crime (ask me about my fave podcasts or ID shows). I am a Chicago native and I do still have an accent. I love my Peloton tread (definitely team Jon Hosking).

Being a mental health therapist is a second career for me. I started out in corporate America. I did sales, program management, project management and people management. Becoming a volunteer on a local crisis line changed the trajectory of my career and my life. The best part of the work that I do is watching my clients and my supervisees achieve things that they didn’t think were possible for themselves.
