About Selina
Hello and welcome! I want to acknowledge, it’s no easy feat seeking care and I want to applaud you for this tremendous step you’re taking. I hope you get a better sense of who I am and how I can support you through your therapeutic journey.
When working with my clients, my approach is open and direct; but never without warmth and compassion. Creating an environment which is inviting and inclusive is at the heart of my practice. My overall goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, seen, and empowered to show up as you.
Carl Jung once said, “That which you most need will be found where you least want to look.” I take this to mean that healing often happens when we’re willing to explore the parts of ourselves we might usually avoid. In our work together, we’ll lead with curiosity and move at a pace you feel comfortable with. We’ll peel the layers, one-by-one, getting to the root of what has been weighing you down and causing distress. I’ll be alongside you every step of the way, offering my guidance and support.
I also take a holistic approach when helping clients. The mind-body connection is an important one to acknowledge. With integration of mindfulness and sensory awareness, there is great potential for you to understand yourself on a deeper level.
